8C-9102 165 mm ID Wear Ring
Cat® 165 mm ID angle-cut wear ring used in tilt cylinders.
Description
The wear ring helps prevent metal-to-metal contact between the rod and the cylinder wall, reducing wear and extending cylinder life. The wear ring has a scarf cut to provide tolerance and is typically located in the tilt cylinder head, seated in a groove. The rod slides inside the wear ring, which helps guide and support the rod as it moves back and forth.
Attributes
- Corrosion resistant to withstand exposure to harsh environments
- Built to exact specifications for durability and reliability
Applications
The wear ring is used to reduce friction between the rod and the cylinder head, improving tilt cylinder efficiency.
