These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of mechsc.com and to quotations provided by MECHSC (“we”, “us”). By using this website or requesting a quote, you agree to these terms.
1. About this website
mechsc.com is a catalog of replacement parts for heavy equipment. It is a quotation website: products cannot be purchased or paid for online. Prices, availability and lead times are provided only in a written quotation.
2. Product information
- Part numbers, descriptions, specifications and compatible machine lists are provided for reference and identification. We work to keep them accurate, but errors and omissions may occur.
- Product images are for illustration and may differ from the item supplied.
- Cat® and Caterpillar® are registered trademarks of Caterpillar Inc. MECHSC is an independent supplier and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Caterpillar Inc. OEM part numbers are used for identification only.
3. Quotations
- A quotation states the price, currency, quantity, lead time, shipping terms and validity period, and whether each item is Genuine OEM or aftermarket.
- A quotation is not a binding offer until both parties confirm the order in writing. Prices and availability may change after the quotation expires.
4. Orders and payment
An order is confirmed when we accept it in writing. Payment terms, accepted payment methods and any deposit are stated in the quotation or invoice.
5. Shipping and delivery
Shipping method, delivery terms, and responsibility for freight, insurance, import duties and taxes are agreed in the quotation. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control.
6. Choosing the right part
You are responsible for confirming that a part fits your machine. We are happy to help identify parts from your machine model and serial number, but please check the part number before you confirm an order.
7. Warranty and returns
Warranty coverage and return conditions are described on our Warranty & Returns page and in your quotation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as loss of profit or machine downtime, arising from the use of this website or of products supplied. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Website content
The content of this website, including text, images and layout, is owned by MECHSC or its licensors and may not be copied for commercial use without our permission.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you request a quote or place an order applies to that quote or order.
