Description
The gas spring is used to help open and close the storage box cover. The spring assembly consists of a cylinder, a piston, and a rod, where the cylinder contains pressurized gas and the piston is equipped with a seal to prevent the gas from escaping or leaking. It is installed on the storage box unit and is used to apply force to the cover to open it and hold it in place.
Features
- With an extended length of 392 mm and a closed length of 272 mm for smooth, controlled movement of the storage box lid.
- Equipped with a stroke length of at least 120 mm to reduce the risk of the cover slamming.
- High strength and wear resistance.

The gas spring is used as support for opening and closing the storage box cover, most commonly used in CAT 313, 320, 323, 324, 326, 330, 333, 336, 336F, 340, 345, 349, 349D, 352, 355, 528, MH3032 and MH3050 Excavators, MD6640 Drill, MH3040, MH3250 and MH3260 Material Handling Machines.
