Description
The engine valve cover is a part located on top of the engine that covers the cylinder head and valves. It is usually made of metal, is bolted to the top of the engine cylinder block, and is sealed with a gasket to prevent oil leaks and keep contaminants out of the engine. Inside the valve cover are passages and channels that allow oil to flow to various engine components.
