465-3190 Radiator Core Seal
Cat® seal for sealing between aluminum modular radiator cores and the radiator tank
Description
The radiator core seal is used to prevent oil or other fluids from leaking from rotating or reciprocating shafts and housings. Seals are used to establish a barrier between the internal and external environments of components and machinery. When selecting a seal, factors such as operating temperature, pressure, and the type of fluid to be sealed must be considered to ensure proper performance and reliability. Regularly inspecting and replacing oil seals during routine maintenance helps prevent leaks, reduce downtime, and extend the service life of the machinery.
Features
- High wear resistance
- Excellent resistance to oil, fuel and chemicals
- Provides a secure seal without excessive compression or stretching
- Able to withstand a very wide temperature range
Applications
This radiator core seal is installed at the top and bottom of the radiator core assembly to prevent coolant leakage.
