Description
A dowel pin is a headless straight pin with a tightly controlled diameter, which can be press-fitted into one or two parts to transmit loads or fix the position of adjacent parts. Fasteners and hardware are designed for specific applications based on size, strength, clamping force, and past performance, information that other manufacturers do not have. They are carefully selected to last until the machine is rebuilt or reaches the end of its life. Non-Cat hardware and fasteners may appear to fit your machine, but other companies do not know your equipment the way we do.
