237-5337 Cat® Magnetic Sensor
Cat® Engine Magnetic Sensor
Description
Magnetic sensors (also called magnetic proximity sensors) are used to detect the presence of a magnetic field or changes in a magnetic field. They consist of a permanent magnet, a coil, and a housing. The permanent magnet produces a stable magnetic field, and the coil is wound on a magnetic core and acts as the sensing element.
Features
- Frequency range of 5 Hz to 100 Hz
- Voltage input of 9-32 VDC
Applications
Magnetic sensors are designed to detect changes in a magnetic field and convert them into electrical signals.
