Description
The heat shield (such as 233-7920) is installed on the exhaust manifold to insulate sensitive engine components from high exhaust system temperatures. The heat shield features a fiber mat layer of insulation on an Inconel liner, with a silicone-impregnated fiberglass cloth cover and hook-and-spring tethers.
The heat shield offers excellent durability, ease of assembly, convenience of service and maintenance, and thermal insulation performance.
