Description
The planetary carrier lock plate holds the planetary carrier gear in position and keeps it aligned. By maintaining stability, the lock plate prevents excessive carrier clearance or unintended movement.
Features
- Made of steel for high strength and stiffness
- Ferritic nitrocarburized to a depth of 0.7-1.3 mm with a minimum surface hardness of Rockwell C 55 for greater wear resistance
- Comes with 2 mounting holes for use with 3/8 fasteners
Applications
The planetary carrier lock plate ensures smooth meshing of the planetary gears.
