Description
Compression springs are open-coil helical springs that are wound or constructed so that they resist compression along the axis of winding. The primary function of the injector spring is to control the opening and closing of the injector valve. The injector spring also controls the rate at which the injector valve closes. It ensures that the valve closes quickly and completely, preventing any fuel from leaking from the injector. This is important for maintaining the correct air-fuel ratio in the combustion chamber and preventing engine misfire or damage.
