| Hose Warning | Improper selection of hose and coupling combinations will void the warranty and may result in serious personal injury or death, property damage, or failure of components and machine systems. Cat® hose assembly products are designed and tested as a system to provide reliable connections that maximize hydraulic system safety and reliability. In addition, properly maintained, appropriate Caterpillar tooling is recommended to ensure hoses are crimped to technical specifications. Using Caterpillar hose with another manufacturer's couplings, or Caterpillar couplings with another manufacturer's hose, may result in unreliable, unsafe, or poorly performing hose assemblies. Caterpillar does not recommend or authorize this practice. For more information, refer to SAE J1273 Section 6.3 and ISO 17165-2 Section 6.3. |
