Description
The clamp ring prevents the gasket from being extruded under high-pressure applications and can be used to protect the life of the overall sealing system from pressure spikes.
Features
Cat® collets are designed together with the elastomeric gasket and contact components, significantly improving the life and function of sealing systems in high-pressure applications.
Clamp rings are always held to tight tolerances to ensure that they properly engage the gasket groove and contact surfaces. The materials selected are pressure-resistant and wear-resistant.
Safety rings can be solid or split. Split rings are easy to install.
