The Cat® hydraulic system circle drive worm gear converts the rotary motion of the hydraulic motor into linear motion.
Description
Cat power train components must withstand extremely high torque, high shock loads, and frequent direction changes and gear shifts. Cat designs and manufactures transmission and final drive components with this requirement in mind. The Cat worm gear consists of a threaded shaft that meshes with a gear to change the direction of the shaft's rotary motion.
