Description
Cat powertrain components must withstand extremely high torque, high shock loads, and frequent direction changes and gear shifts. Cat designs and manufactures transmission and final drive components with these demands in mind, ultimately improving the durability and performance of the powertrain over the life of the machine. The Cat freewheel roller is designed as part of the torque converter freewheel clutch system, allowing a transition from the torque converter stator to freewheeling under high speed, low torque conditions (such as while traveling).
