8N-0875 Engine Exhaust Valve
Cat® Exhaust Valve Used in Cylinder Head
Description
The exhaust valve is a key component in the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. It controls the flow of exhaust gas from the combustion chamber to the exhaust system. The exhaust valve consists of a valve stem, a valve head, and a valve seat. The valve stem extends from the valve head and connects to a valve lifter or rocker arm that is activated by the camshaft. As the camshaft rotates, it lifts the lifter or rocker arm, which in turn opens the exhaust valve.
Features
- Withstands high temperature and high pressure.
- Manufactured to exact specifications for rugged durability, reliable performance and high efficiency.
Applications
The exhaust valve regulates exhaust gas flow, thereby improving engine efficiency and performance, and is widely used in CAT engine motor graders, engines (piston), excavators, OEM applications, generator sets, generators (power), closing machines, pipelayers, wheel tractors (for scrapers), scrapers, track-type tractors, trucks (including truck dozers), wheel tractors (for dozers), compactors, wheel loaders, paving equipment, articulated trucks, Goer, tankers, power shift, material handling, and drive units (power module, transmission, Tc).
