7Y-4291 21 mm Diameter Compression Spring
Cat® compression spring, 21 mm diameter, for swing motors and piston motors.
Description
Compression springs come in a variety of strengths and sizes to suit specific applications. Compression springs feature a helical design that gains compression and tension through spring compression (shortening) as more weight is applied. Compression springs are designed to resist compression and return to their uncompressed length when the applied force is removed. Compression springs are available in many types to meet your needs, including barrel, conical, and double-conical springs. They are open-coil helical springs wound or constructed to resist compression along the axis of wind. These helical springs can work independently but are often assembled over a guide rod or fitted inside a bore.
Attributes
- The coil direction is right-hand.
- Both ends closed, squared and ground for better seating.
- Spring Rate: 95.06 Nm/mm.
Applications
Compression springs that need to store energy are used in the springs of machines and workshops. There are many types of compression springs, including barrel, conical and biconical springs.
