The tension ring prevents gasket extrusion in high-pressure applications and helps protect the life of the overall sealing system from pressure spikes.
Features
Cat® collets are designed together with the elastomeric seal and mating components, significantly improving the life and performance of sealing systems in high-pressure applications. Depending on application requirements, they can be solid or split.
Clamp rings are always held to tight tolerances to ensure that they properly engage the gasket groove and contact surfaces. The materials selected are pressure-resistant and wear-resistant.
