Description
The exhaust valve is a component in the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. It plays a vital role in engine operation by controlling the flow of exhaust gases leaving the combustion chamber. The primary function of the exhaust valve is to open and close at specific times in the engine combustion cycle. When the exhaust valve opens, it allows the burned fuel-air mixture to leave the combustion chamber and flow into the exhaust system.
