Description
The water temperature sender, also called a coolant temperature sensor or coolant temperature sender, is an important component of the cooling system. It monitors engine coolant temperature and provides accurate readings to the temperature gauge or engine control unit (ECU). It consists of a temperature-sensitive element, such as a thermistor or thermocouple, whose resistance changes with temperature.
