6V-1781 Deep Groove Ball Bearing
Cat® 65 mm Bore Special Single Sealed Deep Groove Ball Bearing for Transmission Gears
Description
A deep groove ball bearing is a rolling contact bearing consisting of an inner race mounted on a shaft or journal and an outer race carried by a housing. Between the inner and outer races are the rolling elements, the balls. The radius of the ball is slightly smaller than the radius of curvature of the groove in the race, providing point contact between the balls and races. As a result, the balls and races can roll freely without sliding.
Attributes
- Comes with a seal to keep dust out
- Includes a pin lock groove to hold the bearing in place.
- A clearance with a radius of 1 mm should be provided on both sides of the raceway.
- High load capacity in both radial and axial directions
- Excellent performance in high-speed applications.
- Reduced friction loss, resulting in lower temperature rise
Applications
Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used type of bearing and are suitable for a wide range of applications.
