6V-1542 Ball Rod End
Cat® Spherical Rod End, Male Thread Shank (Size 6)
Description
Cat® spherical rod ends offer long service life, low maintenance and high operating reliability. Spherical rod ends provide a mechanical articulating joint that allows oscillation during slow rotation. These joints also accommodate misalignment between the rod end and the connecting shaft. A spherical rod end consists of an eye-shaped head and an integral shank, with the head forming the spherical bearing housing. The bearing reduces friction and provides protection between mating parts. They are intended for low- to medium-speed, high-load applications with low to moderate side thrust.
