Features

Cat® Cylinder Heads:

Manufactured to Caterpillar's demanding design tolerances and standards. No leaks, and a perfect fit with all cylinder head components and mating surfaces. Maximizes reliability and extends service life.

Clean. The casting process can leave core sand deep inside the cylinder head, which can harmfully contaminate the engine or prevent proper cooling during operation.

Use with standard and oversize guides and/or valve seat inserts: guides and inserts are available in a range of sizes to maximize reuse and repair of the cylinder head.

Designed for remanufacturing. The deck of the expensive cover casting can be machined to remove minor damage and still be reused, extending service life.
