Description
An orifice straight adapter is a fitting used in oil systems. It is designed to connect two pipes or tubes of various sizes, with one end fitting into the larger pipe or tube and the other end fitting the smaller one. In an adapter, the term orifice refers to the tiny opening or hole located in the middle of the fitting. By restricting the amount of oil entering through the fitting, the orifice is used to control the amount of oil flowing through the system.
