5M-6228 Roller Bearing
Cat® Drawn Cup Roller Bearing, Closed End (Inch)
Description
Cat drawn cup needle roller bearings are designed to carry heavy loads and run smoothly at high speeds. The case-hardened shell serves as the outer bearing raceway, and the lips formed on it mechanically retain the needle rollers, hold in lubricant, and keep out external material and contaminants.
Features
- Withstands high loads and offers high hardness.
- Supports high rotational speeds.
- Requires minimal radial mounting space.
- One-piece unit for easy handling and installation.
Applications
Drawn cup needle roller bearings are designed to support larger shaft diameters, with the bearing running directly on the shaft. They are most commonly used in applications where the housing bore cannot serve as a raceway. Typical applications for drawn cup needle roller bearings are general gear reducer shaft supports, gear pumps and guide bearings.
