Description
The link group is driven by the sprocket and final drive. It supports the machine weight, provides a travel guide rail for the machine, and provides locations for connecting the track shoes.
Features
- The grease lubricated track is designed with internally lubricated pins and bushings that avoid contact and friction, and each track joint is fully sealed so grease cannot escape. As a result, the internal wear life of the sealed track is extended by 25%, undercarriage noise is reduced, and the chance of joints freezing or seizing is lowered.
- General duty track is designed to provide an economical option for machines at the end of their life cycle or with low utilization. Its initial price is low, and it can be run until it fails. All Cat® undercarriage is backed by the undercarriage system guarantee. It is manufactured by Caterpillar, hardened, and quality tested to meet the productivity and performance needs of the job site.
