569-7729 272.288 mm OD Crankshaft Seal
Cat® rotating crankshaft seal designed for clockwise rotation ensures a tight seal, preventing leaks and maintaining engine efficiency.
Description
The crankshaft seal is used to retain engine oil and prevent external contaminants from entering the engine oil system.
Seals for dry applications (air-to-oil interface) typically include a primary sealing lip that prevents engine oil leakage and a dust lip. In wet applications (oil-to-oil interface), the dust lip is replaced with an auxiliary lip that can pump external fluid away from the engine. Some seals have a plastic sleeve to assist with the installation process.
Features
- Air-to-oil interface
- Cat crankshaft seals are precision-engineered for extremely demanding applications and withstand high rotational speeds, high temperatures and high-frequency axial movement.
- Cat sealing systems undergo a robust design, testing and validation process. Protect your investment with the latest Genuine Cat seals.
