Description
Cat® alternators are designed to supply power to the battery under any operating condition, thereby powering the machine. They have proven first-class ruggedness, durability, and reliability, even at low idle. These alternators come in two types: the brush design uses integral brushes to reduce maintenance, with constant-pressure springs for even brush wear; the other is the brushless design, which has fewer moving parts, tighter air gap tolerances, and superior sealing for longer life in harsh environments (dirt, dust, high or low temperatures). Cat alternators are quiet, compact, and lightweight, integrate seamlessly into a balanced electrical system, and every unit is rigorously tested so you get genuine Cat reliability.
