540-2485 Hydraulic Accumulator

Description

Accumulators (for example, part number 540-2485) are used in mining and construction equipment. They store and release pressure as needed to stabilize machine-specific hydraulic systems, allowing a lower-power pump to handle temporary peak pressure demands. Brake accumulators allow braking even when the engine is not running, nitrogen-charged oil accumulators absorb and reduce road shock, and blade accumulators help maintain machine control and minimize damage when the blade strikes a fixed object.
