539-3022 50 mm Wire Diameter Compression Spring
Cat® 232 mm Diameter Recoil Compression Spring
Description
Compression springs come in a variety of strengths and sizes to suit specific applications. A compression spring uses a coil design that compresses (becomes shorter) as more weight is applied, providing compression and tension. Compression springs are designed for applications where two components try to push against each other. They are open coil springs wound or constructed to resist compression along the axis. These coil springs can work independently, but are usually assembled on a guide rod or installed inside a hole.
Attributes
- Manufactured to exact specifications for rugged durability, reliable performance and high efficiency.
- The coil direction is right-hand.

Applications
The compression spring is a shock absorber that protects the undercarriage system from shock and overload. Used for anything that requires energy to be stored in the machine and in the shop. Compression springs are available in many types, including cylindrical, conical, and double-conical springs.
