512-2365 1151 mm Stroke Hydraulic Cylinder
Cat® 1151 mm stroke hydraulic cylinder, 150 mm bore, eye connections on both ends, for bucket movement.
Description
The hydraulic cylinder consists of a cylinder barrel in which a piston connected to a piston rod moves back and forth. One end of the cylinder barrel is closed by the cylinder bottom (also called the cap), and the other end is closed by the cylinder head (called the seal tube), through which the piston rod extends from the cylinder. The piston has sliding rings and seals and divides the interior of the cylinder into two chambers: the bottom chamber, the cap end, and the piston rod side chamber, called the rod end.
Attributes
- 2.7:1 buckling safety factor at 35000 kPa to withstand compressive loads
- Handles heavy loads without deforming
Applications
When hydraulic energy is converted to mechanical motion, the hydraulic cylinder controls the bucket movement by providing linear motion.
