Description

The timing disc on the camshaft is a small metal plate attached to the end of the camshaft. The timing plate has marks or notches that indicate the position of the camshaft relative to the engine crankshaft. The timing plate is an important part of the engine timing components and is used to control the opening and closing of the engine valves. The timing disc group consists of parts such as a pin and a plate located in the rear axle cover.
