Description
A compression spring is a mechanical spring designed to withstand compressive forces and store energy. It is a helical spring, meaning it is made of tightly coiled wire of constant diameter and pitch. When the spring is compressed, the coils of the wire move closer together, creating a force that resists the compression and tries to push back to its original length.
Attributes
- Springs meet or exceed current standards and material grades.
- Manufactured to exact specifications for lifetime durability, reliability and high productivity
- Coil direction is right-hand
- Provides 4 active coils

Applications
Compression springs are widely used in fuel pumps. This requires energy to be stored in the spring in machines and shops. Compression springs come in many types to meet different needs, including cylindrical, conical, and double-conical (hourglass) springs.
