Description
Piston rings are used to seal the gap between the piston and the cylinder wall. The top piston ring is the topmost ring on the piston and is responsible for sealing the combustion chamber. It is usually made of high-strength material, designed to withstand pressure and temperature changes, and controls the flow of oil around the piston.
Features
- The piston ring surface is covered with a 0.03 mm thick IP-300 coating to improve wear resistance and durability.
- Vickers hardness value of 320-420 Hv indicates excellent resistance to deformation
