468-3854 Condenser Core
Cat® Condenser Core for Radiators and Aftercoolers
Description
The condenser core is a component in radiator and aftercooler systems. The core consists of a series of closely arranged small tubes or channels designed to conduct heat away from the coolant or refrigerant flowing through them. As hot coolant or refrigerant flows through the tubes, it transfers heat to the surrounding air, which is drawn through the core by a fan or other air handling device.
Features
- Able to withstand the high pressures and temperatures associated with the cooling process.
- The core consists of 29 tubes with 9 fins per inch, harmonica tubes, parallel flow.
Applications
The condenser core is located in front of the radiator and behind the grille in the machine cooling system, ensuring the engine runs at the optimal temperature.
