Description
The hydraulic breather is a component in hydraulic systems that regulates pressure and airflow within the system. As the fluid level changes due to temperature fluctuations or fluid consumption, the breather allows air to enter and leave the tank. The breather typically consists of a filter element that keeps contaminants out of the system while allowing air to pass through. In addition to filtering air, some hydraulic breathers include a relief valve that opens when tank pressure exceeds a certain level.
