Description
The turbocharger group is installed on an internal combustion engine and increases power output by compressing the air entering the engine. It is mounted on the engine exhaust manifold with studs, bellows, V-band clamps, nuts, and other fasteners. It consists of two main components, a turbine and a compressor, connected by a shaft. The turbine is driven by the engine exhaust gases, while the compressor compresses the air drawn into the engine. High-heat-value exhaust gas from the engine passes through the turbine, causing it to spin at high speed. This in turn drives the compressor, which draws in fresh air and compresses it, then delivers the air to the engine intake manifold.
