Description
Cat hoses are designed to route liquids and gases through machine systems. These hoses are made of quality materials built to withstand the application-specific pressure, vibration resistance and flow requirements of Cat heavy-duty equipment. Cat hydraulic hoses and couplings are tested using some of the most rigorous processes in the industry. Every Cat hose and coupling combination is tested as a system to ensure a perfect fit, maximizing safety and reliability.
Cat ToughGuard™ hose features an abrasion-resistant cover for use in extremely harsh operating conditions. Tested to more than 2000,000 SAE abrasion cycles, it offers outstanding resistance to the leading cause of hose failure — abrasion.
The hose construction consists of an oil-resistant synthetic rubber inner tube, two layers of braided wire reinforcement and a synthetic rubber cover with a special ToughGuard film outer sheath, providing high abrasion resistance. Reinforcement layers woven or braided from suitable materials may be used over the tubing and/or wires.
