Cat® hose for engine hydraulic coolant lines
Fitment data not listed — send us your machine model or serial number to confirm.
Description
Cat hoses are designed to route liquids and gases through machine systems. These hoses are made of quality materials built to withstand the application-specific pressure, vibration resistance and flow requirements of Cat heavy-duty equipment. Cat hydraulic hoses and couplings are tested using some of the most rigorous processes in the industry. Every Cat hose and coupling combination is tested as a system to ensure a perfect fit, maximizing safety and reliability.
The hose is constructed from a special high-temperature synthetic rubber tube; there are two layers of textile fiber braid, with spiral metal wire woven into the textile reinforcement layer to prevent
Collapses under vacuum. Comes with a synthetic rubber cover that is resistant to engine oil, weathering, and abrasion.
Specifications
| Hose Warning | Improper selection of hose and coupling combinations will void the warranty and may result in serious personal injury or death, property damage, or failure of components and machine systems. Cat® hose assembly products are designed and tested as a system to provide reliable connections that maximize hydraulic system safety and reliability. In addition, properly maintained, appropriate Caterpillar tooling is recommended to ensure hoses are crimped to technical specifications. Using Caterpillar hose with another manufacturer's couplings, or Caterpillar couplings with another manufacturer's hose, may result in unreliable, unsafe, or poorly performing hose assemblies. Caterpillar does not recommend or authorize this practice. For more information, refer to SAE J1273 Section 6.3 and ISO 17165-2 Section 6.3. |
