435-2940 Air Conditioning Condenser
Cat® Refrigerant Condenser for Air Conditioning
Description
The refrigerant condenser is used to remove heat from the refrigerant gas and convert it to a high-pressure liquid state. The condenser is located on the outside of the air conditioning unit, exposed to ambient air. It consists of a series of coils or tubes designed to promote heat transfer. Because of their excellent thermal conductivity, these coils are usually made of copper or aluminum. When high-pressure refrigerant gas enters the condenser, it releases heat into the surrounding air.
