Description
HVAC systems provide heating, cooling, and fresh and/or recirculated air filtration inside the operator station of Cat machines, giving the operator a comfortable temperature. The Cat Evaporator Group provides a large heat exchange surface area to evaporate the liquid inside. The evaporator should be replaced when the compressor suffers a major failure. Flushing cannot completely remove debris from the plates.

Applications
The evaporator acts as a heat exchanger in the HVAC system, cooling the air circulated by the blower in the operator cab of Cat heavy equipment. Refer to your Operation and Maintenance Manual or contact MECHSC for more information.
