Description
The engine oil pan suction screen is located inside the engine oil pan. It is designed to prevent debris, contaminants and other foreign particles from entering the engine lubrication system. The suction screen sits at the bottom of the oil pan and is connected to the oil pump. When the engine is running, the oil pump draws oil through the screen and pumps it to the engine components that require lubrication.
