Caterpillar has designed a variety of fittings to meet market needs. Cat fittings work as a system with Cat hose and meet specific standards.

Cat® hose assembly products are designed and tested as a system to provide reliable connections that maximize hydraulic system safety and reliability. In addition, properly maintained, appropriate Caterpillar tooling is recommended to ensure hoses are crimped to technical specifications. Using Caterpillar hose with another manufacturer's couplings, or Caterpillar couplings with another manufacturer's hose, may result in unreliable, unsafe, or poorly performing hose assemblies.
