394-0437 Fuel Level Sender Group
Cat® Passive Fuel Sensor with Sealed Column and Reed Switch Array
Description
Cat passive sensors do not require any external power supply. All electronic components are sealed off from the fuel, ensuring high availability and durability in all conditions. The output signal is a variable resistance based on a float that moves along the column with the fuel level. A pull-up circuit is typically used to help diagnose wiring and sensor problems. A stainless steel tube assembly is used to provide vibration stability and corrosion resistance.
Features
- Reed switches paired with a float and magnet prevent fuel and moisture from damaging sensor components
- Designed for use in severe conditions (high vibration and fuel contamination)
- Top Mount Configuration (6 Holes)
- Resistance Range (27-248 Ohms)
- Float Range: 865 mm
Applications
- Recommended for all applications (fuel, DEF, oil, grease)
- Cat level sensors are specific to the application or tank. Refer to your Operation and Maintenance Manual or contact MECHSC for more information.
