Description
The water temperature regulator, also known as a thermostat, is an important component of the engine cooling system. Its function is to regulate coolant flow and maintain the proper engine operating temperature. It is located between the cylinder block and the radiator. It consists of a valve mechanism and a temperature-sensitive element. The valve mechanism controls coolant flow based on the temperature detected by the temperature-sensitive element.
