Description

The hydraulic cylinder head, or cylinder cap, is threaded or bolted onto the rod end of the hydraulic cylinder tube or barrel. The main function of the cylinder head is to contain the hydraulic pressure inside the cylinder tube or barrel. The hydraulic cylinder head also includes an integrated rod seal arrangement that protects the hydraulic system from contamination by external particulates.
