382-6076 Hydraulic Lift Cylinder
Cat® Lift Cylinder for Hydraulic Systems
Description
The lift cylinder consists of a cylindrical barrel, a piston, a piston rod, and various seals. The cylinder barrel is a hollow tube that houses the piston and allows fluid to flow in and out. The piston is a disc-shaped component that fits tightly inside the cylinder barrel and divides the internal cavity into two parts. The piston rod is connected to the piston and extends outside the cylinder, providing a connection point for the load. The seals are used to prevent fluid leakage and maintain the necessary pressure.
Attributes
- Provides precise control of the lifting process.
- Withstands high loads and high pressures.
- Provides optimal performance.
Applications
Lift cylinders are used to lift and support heavy loads. Using hydraulic pressure, the cylinder produces the force required to lift a load vertically. This is critical in various industries such as construction, manufacturing, agriculture, and transportation, where heavy objects or machinery must be lifted for assembly, positioning, or transport.
