379-2633 1.2 mm Thick Handrail External Retaining Ring
Cat® 1.2 mm thick armrest external retaining ring used in seats
Description
The external retaining ring, also called an external snap ring or circlip, sits in a groove on the outside of a correspondingly sized shaft. The area where the ring protrudes from the shaft holds it in place. The external retaining ring is a component in the armrest of the seat assembly, and is used to provide support for a washer that connects to a spring placed in the mounting assembly attached to the frame.
