Description
A precombustion chamber gasket is a gasket that covers the gap between two or more mating surfaces and is typically used to prevent the connected components from leaking outward or inward under compression. Gaskets are typically made from flat sheet material such as paper, rubber, silicone, metal, cork, felt, neoprene, nitrile rubber, fiberglass, polytetrafluoroethylene (also known as PTFE or Teflon) or plastic polymers (such as polychlorotrifluoroethylene).
Features
- Uses 70/30 copper-nickel alloy.
- Rockwell hardness after machining does not exceed 50 – 60 HR.
- Built to exact specifications for durability, reliable performance, and outstanding productivity.
- Designed to withstand high temperatures and pressures while maintaining excellent sealing capability.
Applications
The precombustion chamber gasket is used between the cylinder head and the precombustion chamber group in the engine configuration assembly, and is also used in applications requiring vibration resistance, packing, noise reduction and sound insulation.
