Description
Cat bearings are designed for specific applications based on load, operating speed, temperature range, size, and past performance, and are manufactured to the highest quality standards for long life and high performance. Self-aligning spherical bearings include an inner convex bearing race and an outer concave bearing race that can rotate to relieve stress on the shaft and bearing assembly caused by deflection. Caterpillar design engineers match the right combination of size, material, surface finish, and manufacturing process to each part so that it works effectively with, and wears in sync with, all adjacent and dependent parts.
