Description
The U-cup seal, also known as a U-seal, is designed to provide an effective seal for hydraulic cylinders. It is designed to fit in a groove in the cylinder bore or piston. When the cylinder is pressurized, the seal is forced against the cylinder wall or piston, forming a tight, effective seal. It prevents hydraulic pressure from leaking out of the cylinder, ensuring smooth, efficient operation.
